I read an article about the business school industry in The New York Times Magazine and picked up some info: “schools, like the University of California, Irvine, are already offering free online courses in business fundamentals”.
UCI’s OpenCourseWare offers lessons, materials, power points, etc., with some courses available for credit. UCI’s open courses seem a little more in-depth than Yale’s Open Courses, which, the last I checked, seemed to be little more than the Syllabus and a PowerPoint or two. Harvard also has an Open Learning Initiative, but I haven’t checked it out yet.
Nonetheless, these are great resources and provide a great way to delve further into any subject of your choosing.
It seems as if you Google “name-of-university-here+open courses”, something will turn up.
