This Saturday I will be attending the World Beer Festival with my friend Zach, a home-brewer. The festival happens twice a year, once in Durham and once in Raleigh’s Moore Square. Over 100 breweries will be present will all of them showcasing at least two beers – that’s over 200 beers to try! I’m not a fan of IPAs so that will cut out some tasting unless a brewmaster can convince me what I’m missing out on.
Tickets sell out quickly and cost at least $40. The day is split up into 2 sessions, 12-4 and 6-10. I’ll be day drinking after putting in some work at Raleigh City Farm. The weather is supposed to be nice – I’m looking forward to Saturday.
